本单元的话题是sports and fitness，教学目标学生read 国内外的games and athletes听如何邀请别人去sports events，思考sportsmanship，最后会写how to be a fit person。project部分，do a survey about students’ fit lifestyle，such as how often do you exercise，what sports do you take？why do you choose some sports？ 最后的目的是上学生喜欢运动，live a healthy lifestyle。
在reading and thinking部分，接着昨天的听力，然后进行了reading部分，整体色设计是先展示几幅运动员的照片，然后让学生陈述what do they have in common？athletes， win gold medal，Chinese，bring honor and glory to China。这个回答是我没有想到的，学生之前已经读了课文了，但是没有想到，他们会把这句话用到我的问题中，很惊讶也很欣慰。最后我说，are they all legends？yes. no 不同学生有不同的答案。what is the definition of legend？ 在学生在认知中legend in Chinese is 传说，maybe something is not existence. can you find the concept? of? legend in our passage。然后为板书了legend 的两个特点：master? and set? good examples for others.
然后让学生快速读文章，因为学生在早读的时候已经读过了文章了，所有让学生快速再读一遍，what do they have in common？they are athletes? ?and they are all stong-willed.
然后从文本的organisation 和 language features的方面去分析文章。首先这篇文章来着于哪里？可能是一篇杂志，也可能是一网页。所有文章的语言特点是什么呢？

接下来分析郎平那篇文章。前三句，as。。。as。。。? as。。。说明了不同身份之下郎平的特点。然后具体再去展开进行描述。
课堂时间比较紧张，在课前又让学生进行了单词复习，毕竟要考试了么。所以整个课堂时间非常紧张，最后的升华部分没有达到。我的预期是让学生在分析文本语言和结构特征后进行仿写，在 other living legends in our life。学会用简练单附有人物特征的语言进行描写。可能对学生来说是一种挑战。但是我依旧想去尝试去。
课本的语篇选取了中外的人物，但是我们学习英语的目的是为了进行文化的输出，用英语讲解中国故事，让更多的人知道中国故事。基于语篇的分析后，不是让学生记住这个人物，而是让学生掌握如何描写人物，结构和语言方面的知识。所有如果每一个话题都可以在语篇的依托下，进行讲解中国故事，那么我觉得高中三年后学生的这种意识会很强的。甚至在整个一生中，他们都会不自觉地作为中华文化的传播者。当然这个要求有点高了呀。
